In today’s efficiency-driven society, our lives seem so streamlined that they appear to have been neatly folded, causing us to overlook the intricate details that enrich our existence and the beauty immediately around us. UNFOLD draws inspiration from my observations during aimless urban wanderings, termed as “city walks.” This project adopts a distinctive approach to shifting perspectives: it first expands and then refolds our perceptions of life, revealing the concealed and compressed of our daily existence. Through this, UNFOLD advocates for the embrace of both imperfection and inefficiency, prompting us to question prevailing societal perceptions and the ways in which we assign meaning.
